Student Employment in Australia
You may work up to 20 hours a week
while your course is in session and full-time during the holiday
periods. Your dependents, if also granted permission to work, can
work up to 20 hours a week at all
times.
There are several ways to find a casual
or part-time job. Daily papers advertise employment opportunities,
particularly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and weekly local papers
also contain jobs in the nearby area.
However, the most popular method of
seeking work is through online job sites.
